Artificial intelligence
Agentic AI: from answering to acting
Earlier AI tools answered questions. AI agents can plan a multi-step task, call software tools and APIs, check their own output and finish a piece of work within limits a person sets. Typical uses are invoice handling, ticket triage, document review and report preparation.
Why it matters
Agents can take on whole processes, not just single steps. That only works safely with clear limits, human approval points and an audit trail of what the agent did.
How we help
We identify processes suited to agents, build them with the right controls, and connect them to your existing systems.
Artificial intelligence
Generative AI grounded in your own data
Large language models can draft, summarise, translate and answer questions in plain language. Used on their own, they can state wrong facts with confidence. The common fix is retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): the model looks up your verified documents before it answers and cites them.
Why it matters
Grounded answers turn manuals, policies and records into a searchable assistant for staff or customers, including in Indian languages.
How we help
We prepare and index your content, build the assistant, and test it for accuracy before it goes live.
Data & cloud
Smaller, private and specialised models
Not every task needs the largest model. Compact models trained or tuned for one domain can run on your own servers or a private cloud. That lowers cost, cuts response time and keeps sensitive data inside your control. Open-weight models have made this practical for mid-sized organisations.
Why it matters
Data residency, confidentiality and running cost often decide whether an AI project is viable. Running the model privately addresses all three.
How we help
We advise on whether a hosted, private or hybrid set-up fits your needs, then deploy and run it.
Quantum
Quantum computing: from the lab to early use
Quantum computers process information with qubits, which can solve some kinds of problem in ways classical computers cannot. Today's machines are still limited and error-prone, but they can be reached through the cloud. Research is moving towards error-corrected systems. India's National Quantum Mission is investing in this field.
Why it matters
Optimisation, materials and drug research, and some finance problems are early candidates. Organisations that understand the technology now will be ready when it matures.
How we help
We assess quantum readiness, identify suitable problems, and run cloud-based experiments alongside classical methods.
Security
Post-quantum cryptography
A large enough quantum computer could break the public-key encryption that protects most data today. Data stolen now could be decrypted later. New quantum-resistant algorithms have been standardised; NIST published its first post-quantum standards in 2024. Organisations are starting to plan their migration.
Why it matters
Records that must stay confidential for many years, such as financial, health or government data, are exposed first.
How we help
We list where your systems use encryption, rank what to change first, and plan a staged move to quantum-safe methods.
India
Digital public infrastructure and the IndiaAI Mission
India's digital public infrastructure (Aadhaar-based verification, UPI payments, DigiLocker, the Account Aggregator framework and ONDC) lets businesses build on shared, open systems. The IndiaAI Mission is adding public computing capacity, datasets and support for building AI in India.
Why it matters
Products that plug into these systems reach users faster and at lower cost. Public AI resources lower the barrier for Indian organisations to adopt AI.
How we help
We design and integrate solutions that use these platforms, within each one's rules for access and consent.
Governance
Responsible AI and data protection
Rules for AI and personal data are tightening worldwide. In India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 sets duties for anyone who processes personal data. The European Union's AI Act classifies AI systems by risk. ISO/IEC 42001 gives a management-system standard for AI.
Why it matters
Consent, purpose limits, explainability and human oversight now have to be designed in from the start, not added after launch.
How we help
We build privacy and governance controls into every solution and help set up AI policies, risk registers and review processes.
Data & cloud
Edge AI and connected devices
More AI now runs on cameras, sensors, phones and on-site gateways instead of in a distant data centre. Processing data where it is created gives faster responses and keeps working when the connection is weak.
Why it matters
Factories, warehouses, farms, hospitals and field teams can use real-time analytics without relying on constant connectivity.
How we help
We design the device-to-cloud set-up, help source the hardware, and build the analytics on top.
